BECOME A SPONSOR

Le Transport Modern is being built to solve a real, local problem: reliable, affordable transportation access for Maine residents who need it most. From daily commutes and medical appointments to work, school, and essential errands, transportation should not be a barrier to opportunity or stability.

As we work toward launching full service, we are seeking sponsors and funding partners who want to support a community-focused transportation solution with long-term impact.

Why Sponsorship Matters

Launching a compliant, professional transportation network requires more than vehicles and drivers. To operate legally and responsibly in Maine, Le Transport Modern must secure a Transportation Network Company (TNC) License, which involves regulatory filings, insurance requirements, background checks, and ongoing compliance costs. This licensing step is essential before full public launch.

In addition, we are working toward implementing a dedicated booking and dispatch app that allows riders to schedule trips, track drivers, and access service easily and safely. App development, software licensing, and ongoing platform fees represent a significant upfront and operational investment—but they are critical to providing a modern, dependable experience for riders and drivers alike.

Supporting Low-Income Riders

Beyond licensing and technology, Le Transport Modern is committed to transportation equity. Many individuals and families in our community struggle to afford reliable transportation, yet depend on it for healthcare access, employment, education, and basic needs.

A portion of sponsorship funding will be used to help:

  • Offset ride costs for low-income riders

  • Support subsidized or reduced-fare transportation programs

  • Expand access for individuals who are transportation-insecure

Our goal is to ensure that cost does not prevent someone from getting to work, a medical appointment, or other essential destinations.

How Sponsorship Funds Are Used

Sponsorship contributions directly support:

  • TNC licensing and regulatory compliance

  • App and platform development, setup, and maintenance

  • Insurance and operational infrastructure

  • Subsidized rides and community access initiatives

  • Program sustainability and responsible growth

All funding is used with transparency and purpose, aligned with the mission of building a safe, accessible, and community-driven transportation service.

Who Should Sponsor

Sponsorship opportunities are ideal for:

  • Local businesses and employers

  • Community organizations and nonprofits

  • Healthcare providers and service agencies

  • Municipal partners and economic development groups

  • Individuals or organizations invested in community access and equity

Sponsors are not just supporting a business—they are supporting mobility, access, and opportunity for Maine residents.
